Bottom Front Drawer, 1860s-1870s

Contents include: -forceps
Bur Thimble on a Movable Hinge and Two Hand-Operated Dental Drills, 1860s-1870s

The ring fits over the index finger and the cup of the thimble was used with one of the long-handled dental drills that was rotated by the thumb and index fingers creating a drilling speed of less than 15 RPM.

Ebony-handled Tooth Key, 1860s-1870s

Ebony-handled Tooth Key Inlayed with Mother-of-Pearl A circular-shaped bolster and slotted pin are used to change the position of the key.

Contents include: -files and instruments for operative dentistry – stump and pivot files, curve molar files, and hand instruments -various styles of ivory-handled instruments with silver ferrules (metal collar for crown preparation)

Removable level that contains: -ferrules (metal collar for crown preparation) and instruments with handles of ivory and mother-of-pearl with semi-precious stones -large pearl hand mirror, gold mounted -pearl handle foil shears -pearl tongue holder -small pearl mirror -pearl hand-drill with rotating gold top -separating saw with ivory handle
Side Drawers, 1860s-1870s

Contents include: -a variety of ivory-handled instruments both with and without silver ferrules (metal collar for crown preparation)
